Two optional questions
Skip either one. Nothing on your screen changes when you answer; the counts only help the project see who is using Homeabouts. Your answers are kept on this phone, and you can change them in Settings. Homeabouts gets only a count of each answer, never your address.
Do you rent or own?
Which of these is the biggest hassle where you live?
Homeabouts asks this one again in a week or so, to see whether anything changed.

This is a policy choice for the council, so what residents tell it can be part of how it decides.

You’ll finish on Provo’s own reservation site. Homeabouts can’t see what you book there.

From Provo’s page, Oct 2, 2026. The price for a specific pavilion is not on Provo’s rules page; it shows once you pick a park and a date in Provo’s own booking system.
Rules people often miss
- Park curfew is 11 p.m.; power shuts off automatically around then.
- Leave it clean: table covers and tape off, grease cleaned up, trash in the bins provided.
- Open fires are allowed only in the fire pits Parks Operations has installed.
- 200 or more people, a wedding, 2 or more inflatables, or filming: a $350 fee applies on top of the pavilion rental.
From Provo’s rules page, Oct 2, 2026. Full rules are on Provo’s page below.

What this app keeps
This sends one email when Homeabouts starts sending updates by email.
If you answer on a council item, Homeabouts adds one to the count for your choice, your neighborhood (one of Provo’s 35 neighborhood areas, worked out from your address) and your council district. Never your name, address, email, connection address, or the date or time you answered. Your short reason, if you add one, is kept with no neighborhood, district, choice or date, and a person reads it before any is shown to others, so leave names out of it. While the item is open, a random receipt and a one-way code let this phone answer once and change its answer; both are deleted when the item closes. We keep no list of who answered and could not produce one. No count under 11 is shown anywhere.
If you answer “Would you use this if Provo connected it?” on a sample, the answer (Yes or No) is counted with the sample’s name, where it was shown (first on the page, second, from a line under another sample, on Home or in the list) and the ad that first brought you here (for any other link, only its kind). Seeing a sample, opening one, skipping one and tapping a button inside one are counted the same way. This phone remembers your answer so it shows as chosen; a changed answer is counted again. If you then type an address, one more count for each sample you answered says which sample and how you answered, with the same ad or kind of link. None of these counts carries your name or your address. If you tap “Email me if Provo connects it” and save your email, the app keeps your email, the sample’s name and which kind of link you first came from, and sends that one email only if Provo City connects that sample.
Cards and lines marked “Drafted with AI” are written overnight by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, from Provo’s public documents only. Nothing you type is sent to it. Public totals, with nothing under 11 shown: Counts, in the open.

What to know
Quiet hours: never between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
On an iPhone, alerts work only from the home-screen app, on iOS 16.4 or later.
To stop them all, turn this switch off, or tap Pause all alerts in Settings.
To send them, Homeabouts keeps the code your browser gives Homeabouts for sending alerts to this phone (not your email or your street), your council district, the day you turned alerts on and how many you got this week. Never your street. Turning alerts off deletes all of it.
Provo raised residential water rates 6% this year. At the June 9 city budget hearing, no one spoke.
